Floyds Fork is a thriving urban stream providing habitat for more than 40 species of fish in addition to freshwater mussels, turtles, crayfish, birds, mammals, and aquatic macroinvertebrates. Join The Parklands Education Team, Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources and Derby City Fly Fishers for a day of fishing and fun as we learn new fishing skills while exploring what lives in Floyds Fork.

All activities are free and open to all. All fly fishing and Fishing 101 participants 16 and over must have a valid fishing license. Space is limited for Fishing 101 and registration is required. Click the button below for more details about each activity.
